The GasBuddy smartphone app and website are used by more than 12 million drivers each month to find the best local prices for fuel.

Due to years of extensive work by Growth Energy and leading retailers across the country, Unleaded 88 is now available at more than 1,800 retail sites and 31 states. That growth and increasing demand led to a new partnership initiative with GasBuddy, the leading and most respected consumer fuel app, which boasts the world’s largest database of real-time, crowdsourced gas data covering more than 150,000 North American fueling sites.

The GasBuddy smartphone app and website are used by more than 12 million drivers each month to find the best local prices for fuel. The new partnership was implemented to further capitalize on the growing momentum behind E15 and was responsible for bringing it onto the GasBuddy platform and into their database, ensuring that GasBuddy users will be able to find this higher-octane, less-expensive option when they need to fill up their tanks.

To kick off the partnership, Growth Energy launched an advertising campaign with GasBuddy to promote the benefits of renewable biofuel to potential customers and point them toward stations that sell Unleaded 88 fuel. The ad campaign is targeted to GasBuddy users who live near stations that carry Unleaded 88 and is meant to educate them on the benefits of the fuel and drive them to the pump to purchase it. Millions of drivers rely on GasBuddy to find the most competitively-priced fuel, so the addition of Unleaded 88 which can save drivers up to $0.10 per gallon compared to regular unleaded gasoline into the database should be a welcome addition for users.

Today, leading retailers like Kwik Trip, Sheetz, Casey’s General Store, Cumberland Farms, Thorntons, Kum & Go, RaceTrac, QuikTrip, Rutter’s, Minnoco, Protec Fuel, Murphy USA, Family Express, Pump & Pantry and Bosselmans who offer Unleaded 88 will be featured in the app. Consumer demand for Unleaded 88 has been proven with the billions of miles driven, and partnerships like the one with GasBuddy will remain crucial to raising awareness of the fuel and further increasing demand.
