Kroger stores will begin a Holiday Gift Card offer on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, worth $10 off for every $100 customers purchase in participating gift cards for a two-week period.

Shoppers will receive $10 off their purchase automatically by using their loyalty card at checkout.

Through Sunday, Dec.13.,  this special offer will be available in all Kroger stores and other stores the company operates under the following names: City Market, Dillons, Jay C, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, King Soopers, QFC, Ralphs and Smith’s.

Several top retailers are participating in this two-week program including Applebee’s, Bass Pro Shops, Bath & Body Works, Best Buy, iTunes, Sears and Spa Finder. Customers can mix and match gift cards from participating retailers to reach the $100 amount and then receive $10 off their total purchase.

“Kroger’s Holiday Gift Card Deal is just one more way we offer exceptional value to customers when they need it most,” said Donald Becker, executive vice president of Kroger. “Shoppers this season can find all they need to create memorable holidays for family and friends at their neighborhood Kroger stores.”

Customers can choose to use gift cards to give as presents or use them for their own entertainment, dining and home purchases. “Either way, customers can earn additional fuel rewards through this limited time offer and stretch their holiday shopping dollars even further,” Becker said.

The maximum savings per household on the special gift card sale is $50. Gift cards for Kroger stores are not included. Food 4 Less customers do not need a loyalty card to take advantage of this program.
