Competition pits store against store and customer against customer for a chance to win 25-cent dispensed beverages for an entire month.

Kum and Go is encouraging customers to purchase fountain drinks in an effort to boost their store to the top spot in a dispensed beverage competition that spans eight regions, for a chance to win 25-cent fountain drinks and frozen carbonated beverages in October.

Participating stores in (1) Arkansas; (2) Colorado; (3) Iowa; (4) Minnesota / Montana / North Dakota / South Dakota; (5) Missouri; (6) Nebraska; (7) Oklahoma; and (8) Wyoming, will track sales of fountain drinks and frozen carbonated beverages (e.g., Koolee) during promotion, which began at midnight CDT on May 1, 2011 and, unless modified by the sponsor, ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CDT on August 31, 2011.

Just eight stores, one for each region, will be crowned as champions when summer comes to a close. The store in each region with the greatest percentage increase of unit growth sales of fountain drinks and frozen carbonated beverages as compared to the corresponding time period in 2010, will sell 32-ounce fountain drinks to its customers for only 25 cents during the month of October 2011. The winning stores will be announced in September.

Kum & Go reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the promotion if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the promotion as determined by Kum & Go in its sole discretion.

The Website www.kumandgo.com/storewars allows visitors to see which Kum & Go location within each of the eight regions is leading the promotion as of the most recent update of the Web page.
