Renovated stores reopen Sat., Feb. 12, in Urbandale and West Des Moines.

Kum & Go has acquired two JC’s Corner Stores in central Iowa, which were renovated and reopened on Feb. 12, under the Kum & Go brand.

Kum & Go President and CEO Kyle Krause noted that it was extremely important to Kum & Go’s associates to reopen the stores as soon as possible for neighborhood residents.  They have been working long hours to prepare the stores for customers who depend upon these two locations for gas or food.

“Kum & Go has achieved a positive reputation for outstanding customer service and quality products.  It’s exciting to see how our store associates strive to make a difference with every customer. Sometimes it is through friendly greetings.  Other times, it might be helping a customer in need.  Our people truly are the reason why more than 400,000 customers visit Kum & Go stores each day,” Krause said.

Special re-grand opening activities are scheduled to take place in late February and include drink and pizza specials and several prizes.

Kum & Go operates more than 430 convenience stores in 11 states.
