Kum&GosquareHelps communities affected by Colorado flooding.

Kum & Go is joining forces with the American Red Cross to support ongoing disaster relief efforts in Colorado. The convenience retailer is making a $15,000 donation to help people and communities affected by the recent floods.

In addition to the donation, Kum & Go is working hard to ensure its stores remain open and stocked in order to meet the needs of customers in affected communities. The store at 2375 Canyon Blvd. in Boulder was closed under mandatory evacuation for three days, plus stores in Dacono and Evans had flood damage.

“We are fortunate that all of our associates are safe and that the majority of our Colorado stores are unaffected by the floods,” said Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go. “As a company, we are committed to the communities where we live and work, and this donation is one way that we can directly help our friends and neighbors in Colorado.”

Kum & Go’s donation will assist several communities where the Red Cross is operating shelters and providing aid for flood victims, including Boulder, Colorado Springs, Greeley, Loveland and Longmont. Kum & Go stores also serve customers in these communities.

Kum & Go recently opened its 50th store in Colorado. The convenience retailer operates more than 420 stores in 11 states, employing more than 4,500 associates.
