USA Today has once again revealed the results for its list of Best Gas Station Brands, voted on by USA Today readers as part of its 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. A familiar favorite took the No. 1 slot this year — Kwik Trip, notching its sixth consecutive year at the top of the list.
“Today, we measure a gas station experience by much more than just the fuel, though,” USA Today wrote. “How clean are the bathrooms? How fresh is the coffee? What snack options are available? These 10 brands — nominated by an expert panel and voted by readers as the best in the U.S. — cater to the needs of drivers in all of these ways.”

- Hy-Vee
- Royal Farms
- QuikTrip
- RaceTrac
- Maverik
- Rutter’s
- Allsup’s/Yesway
- Love’s Travel Stops
This year’s list includes eight repeating brands from 2024 — the two newcomers to the list are Allsup’s/Yesway and Love’s.
In addition to the Best Gas Station Brands, USA Today readers also voted on the Best Gas Station for Food.
“Gas stations, convenience stores and truck stops are more than just a place to grab a quick bite when you’re on the go,” USA Today wrote. “They’re serving up delicious food and snacks that make them destinations in and of themselves, from fried chicken and pizza to organic salads and veggie burritos.”
Once again, Kwik Trip took the top slot in this category. Results were as follows:

- Allsup’s/Yesway
Additionally for this category, eight 2024 winners reclaimed spots on the top 10 in 2025. The new additions to the list this year include Spinx and Allsup’s/Yesway.
“Kwik Trip is known for its bakery, which serves fresh bread, muffins, cookies, bagels and doughnuts,” USA Today noted. “The convenience store also offers burritos, pizza, salads, soups and fried chicken, all of which are fairly priced and made with high-quality ingredients.”
