New store in Chisago City, Minn. marks the 400th location for the convenience store chain.
La Crosse, Wis.-based Kwik Trip has opened its 400th convenience store location.
On it’s Facebook Page, Kwik Trip posted a photo of the store (left) and announced the opening of its milestone location at 11085 Lake Blvd. in Chisago City, Minn.
Steve Wrobel, in corporate communications at Kwik Trip, told WKBT News that the company usually opens 12-15 stores a year. “Each and every store of course creates about 25 jobs at the retail level and that in turn leads to growth here since we are so vertically integrated, it provides opportunities in our production areas, our dairy, our bakery, our kitchens,” Wrobel said.
Kwik Trip is 29th in the nation in terms of number of stores.
