As c-stores enter the digital landscape, from apps, loyalty programs and online ordering, to artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and even autonomous stores, operators are collecting more data than ever before. But how do they begin to mine that data and apply it to grow their business?
At this year’s CStore Connections conference, taking place March 9-12 in Charlotte, N.C., retailers and experts will discuss potential roadmaps for navigating the vast landscape of data analytics.
“At our conference in 2024, we explored how AI and digital tools are transforming data collection in the convenience retail space. This year, we’re taking the conversation a step further — focusing on how to operationalize that data to drive real business impact,” said Allison Dean, executive director of NAG Convenience. “This session is invaluable because it provides a roadmap for retailers looking to move beyond just collecting data and start leveraging it for smarter decision-making, improved customer engagement and operational efficiencies.”
Panelists at the session, which is titled “Data Demystified: How to Harness Data-Driven Insights for Strategic Decision Making,” include Todd Hauptmann, vice president of IT, Road Ranger; Scott Smith, director of IT, Parker’s; and Lenny Smith, vice president, Crosby’s. The session will be moderated by Abby Karel, vice president of business development, dining and convenience, Bounteous.
