LOGICSeizes top four SKUs and nine of Top 12 SKUs in the U.S.

LOGIC Technology, makers of premium electronic cigarettes, announced the results of Nielsen’s latest Item Rank Report, indicating LOGIC continues to outperform competitors in sales per point distribution.

The total U.S. Nielsen Item Rank Report, based on sales from convenience stores nationwide, reports LOGIC electronic cigarettes as the only major brand demonstrating increased sales since the previous report.  Of all brands within the category, LOGIC generated the largest dollar increase in sales, proving the company’s growth and increasing market share. Finally, of the top three largest e-cig brands LOGIC was the only company to gain dollar share, while others declined.

According to the Nielsen Item Rank Report ending Aug. 3, 2013, LOGIC ranked first, second, third and fourth in SKUs for dollar sales per point distribution across the United States. In addition to the top four, LOGIC now holds nine of the top 12 SKUs in the U.S. As compared to last month, when LOGIC held the top three SKUs and nine of the top 14, the latest Nielsen numbers showcase LOGIC’s significant growth, overtaking competitors to further dominate the category.

“It is exciting to see the latest numbers reinforcing LOGIC’s steady and continuous growth including the largest dollar share increase.  We produce a reliable, premium product that offers a smarter alternative to traditional cigarettes and are thrilled that more and more adult consumers are making LOGIC their choice,” said Miguel Martin, president of LOGIC Technology.  “Consumers are looking for a high-quality product that not only tastes great but also proves to be consistent in its performance, time and time again. We believe that LOGIC’s growth can be attributed to the strong relationships we have with our trade partners and to the fact that consumers are trying various products within the electronic cigarette space, finding LOGIC’s offerings superior.”

The electronic cigarette industry is rapidly growing and was recently projected to reach $1 billion by year’s end. LOGIC’s superior and innovative products have contributed to its tremendous sales growth.  According to Wells Fargo Securities C-Store Scanner Data Summary, LOGIC sales have grown 887% as of July 6, 2013 over the prior year in unit sales.
