Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores named David Carter as district manager and Jerry Hamm as corporate marketing manager of loyalty and media production.
In its corporate office in Oklahoma City, Okla., Love’s appointed Eric Roth corporate manager of creative services, while Stewart Terbush was hired as the new accounts receivable manager and Rick Wolfenbarger was hired as business aligned technology manager.
Carter has been at Love’s for 10 months, with the last two months as general manager in Tifton, Ga. He has a commercial pilot license and industrial testing from the Spartan School of Aeronautical, and was previously employed as a district manager for Wilco Hess.
Hamm started at Love’s as marketing project manager in 2007, coming to the company from Cimarron Trading Co., a point-of-purchase company he owned. Prior to that, he was a marketing manager and regional vice president of sales at The Morrison Group. He has a bachelor’s in fine arts from the University of Oklahoma.
Roth joined Love’s in May this year with 13 years experience under his belt, including positions at Fujitsu Network Communications, Inter Global Exhibitions and Pallas Photo Imaging. He has degrees in photojournalism, geography and Russian from Ball State University and University of Georgia at Athens.
Terbush, a certified public accountant, joined Love’s with 26 years experience, most recently as director of accounting operations at Fleming Companies Inc. He received his bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1982.
Wolfenbarger’s background includes 20 years of experience in the systems/application management field, including work at JPMorgan Chase Bank. He received his bachelor’s of science degree from Oklahoma State University in 1979 and his MBA from the University of Tulsa in 1984.
