“Our business model and growth plans have enabled us to attract the very best talent in the c-store industry,” says MACS president.

Richmond, Va.-based  Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS), a convenience store operator in the Mid-Atlantic region and one of ExxonMobil’s largest consortiums of retailers in the U.S., has added three new members to its Leadership Team.

The new members include Frank Quinn, vice president of marketing and merchandising; Michael Raymond, director of loss prevention and risk management; and Kathy Meadows, director of human resources.

Quinn comes to MACS after 13 years in leadership positions at 7-Eleven, including his role as vice president/division manager for 7-Eleven’s Mid-Atlantic region, as well as 7-Eleven’s sales & merchandising manager in its Northeast division. Quinn also served as the national senior category manager of food & foodservice at APlus, a Philadelphia-based convenience store chain that includes 350 corporately-owned stores and 250 franchise stores.

Raymond joins MACS after 25 years with 7-Eleven, where he most recently served as senior director of corporate security and loss prevention. Additionally, Raymond held 7-Eleven leadership positions in operations, human resources and training.

Meadows has been named MACS’ director of human resources, providing HR leadership to all divisions of the organization.  Meadows spent 16 years with Ukrop’s Super Markets, gaining a breadth of experience in all areas of human resources.  Most recently, Meadows held the position of regional human resource manager for the Medical Facilities of America, where she was responsible for 11 centers throughout the state of Virginia.

“We are delighted to add Frank, Mike and Kathy to our outstanding Leadership Team,” said Jim Summers, MACS president and chief operating officer. “Our business model and growth plans have enabled us to attract the very best talent in the c-store industry, and we now have the critical mass and chemistry to implement our dynamic plans.”
