“As we introduce the Circle K brand throughout the Mid-Atlantic
region, we are confident that our mobile app will help us connect and engage with consumers” says MACS spokesperson.
Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS), with 71 corporate-owned locations in Virginia and Maryland, is the newest retailer to join the OpenStore platform to support their Circle K branded locations.
Circle K is the internationally known brand of Couche-Tard, a Quebec based c-store chain. A new branded Mid-Atlantic Circle K Website, with pages for each store, officially rolled out earlier this month, and the free Circle K mobile app is worth the download. The app showcases updated gas prices, locations, in-store promotions, and more. Customers send feedback from their mobile phone, review job postings, and receive time-sensitive electronic mobile coupons.
“We are excited to partner with OpenStore on the development of our mobile and social media platforms. As we introduce the Circle K brand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, we are confident that our mobile app will help us connect and engage with consumers” said Derek Gaskins, senior vice president of marketing & merchandising at MACS.
“We help our clients identify new opportunities, make choices between those opportunities and optimize their customer experiences to attain and sustain market leadership,” said Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore by GasBuddy. “OpenStore is a complete turnkey social technology solution that will support Circle K’s strategies to reach their customers with targeted marketing and powerful messaging.”
MACS is derived from company-owned and dealer operated locations along with a wholesale fuel distribution network. MACS has approximately 300 locations throughout Virginia and Maryland.
