Manitowoc Foodservice announces the promotion of Kathy Veder to the newly created position of vice president global accounts, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A and Arby’s.

In her new role, Veder will focus on marketing initiatives including strategic direction, product line management, business development, customer service and delivering on our promise to our end-user customers.

Veder has over 20 years of experience in sales, strategic planning, research and development, engineering, and finance. Previously, Veder served as the vice president of marketing with Frymaster. Prior to joining Manitowoc, she held a variety of leadership roles as executive vice president and chief marketing officer within the industry. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Miami University, Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) certification, and has attended graduate classes in business at Portland State University.

Garland Canada, the distributor of Manitowoc Foodservice in Canada, also announced the appointment of Mary Chiarot as vice president and general manager.  In her new role, Chiarot will have overall responsibility for Garland Canada distribution.

Chiarot has many years of experience in sales, marketing and strategic planning. Previously, Chiarot served as the vice president of marketing with the Garland Group.  Prior to joining Manitowoc, she held a variety of leadership roles with Whirlpool Canada and General Electric Canada.  Chiarot holds a Honors Bachelor of Applied Science Degree and major in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada.
