A Mars chocolate product is being removed from 30 states due to an allergen concern.

After a consumer reported finding a Snickers piece in 24 ounce bag of Dove Chocolate Assortment Snowflakes, Mars has decided to recall the product.

According to a report from Confectionery News, the product was distributed between Sept. 19 and Dec. 1, and the company is recalling 6,700 cases. The products may contain pieces of Snickers, Twix or Milky Way, and may contain peanuts wheat and/or eggs, while these ingredients are not listed on the packaging. Consumers with allergies to these ingredients may experience life-threatening reactions if they eat this product.

The product is being removed from stores, and consumers who believe they have purchased the product and have allergy concerns should return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
