Maverik supports Idaho miracle makers this holiday season.
Maverik Inc. recently donated $5,000 to the Idaho-based Miracle League of Payette, which assists area communities.
Currently, the Miracle League has more than 240 leagues in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada and serves more than 200,000 children and young adults with disabilities. The Miracle League of Payette is a nonprofit branch.
“The decision to help support such an outstanding organization in Payette was easy,” said Ernie Harker, executive director of marketing. “Maverik is an exciting brand filled with adventure. The Miracle League is dedicated to giving every child and young adult a chance to be involved in an exciting team sport that encourages team building and fosters confidence. Maverik is proud to be a part of the Payette community, and we’re pleased to contribute to the amazing work of the Miracle League of Payette.
The convenience store chain operates some 265 locations in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
