Customers can bring toys for children to any Minit Stop store.

Minit Stop is welcoming Azeka Shopping Center to its partnership with Street Bikers United Hawaii (SBU) in support of the 2017 Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive.

Azeka will join Minit Stop in assisting SBU, which for the past 40 years has participated in the US Marine Corps’ annual campaign to collect toys and donations for Hawaii’s less fortunate keiki.

Last year SBU collected more than 45,000 toys and more than $36,000 in monetary donations making the holidays brighter for scores of Hawaii’s children.

Community members can join the partnership, and participate in the 2017 Toys for Tots Toy Drive, by bringing new, unwrapped toys to their favorite Minit Stop Store or to any store at Azeka Shopping Center. Donation bins will be set up now through Dec. 18 at all locations.

If you prefer to make a monetary donation, you can purchase donation tickets in denominations of $1 and $5 at all Minit Stop checkout counters. Customers purchasing donation tickets will have their names posted in the store, and the funds raised will be used to purchase additional toys. Either way, all donations will benefit a local child in need.

Street Bikers United Hawaii, a non-profit political, legal and social advocacy organization representing Hawaii’s motorcycle community, sends out a big MAHALO! to all who support this annual event. “We appreciate the outpouring of support from our partners and from the community,” said Ron Panzo, president of SBU. “We are grateful for the help in achieving our goal of making the holidays happy for all of Hawaii’s keiki.”

Kim Robello, Minit Stop merchandising manager noted, “It’s all about the children… Toys for Tots is an institution in Hawaii and we at Minit Stop/Ohana Fuels are proud to give back by supporting the annual Toy Drive.”
