For the fifth year in a row, Murphy USA Inc. has selected Swisher International as its Supplier Partner of the Year.

The honor was based on the collaboration between the two companies, including innovative programs created by Swisher for Murphy USA and ease of working together. As well, based on an internal Murphy USA survey, Swisher ranked as one of the “top companies” doing business with Murphy USA in part due to Swisher’s service, program implementation, reliability, understanding of the c-store industry, and interest in growing Murphy USA’s business.

“Swisher International consistently embraces Murphy USA’s vision of success and helps make it become a reality,” explained Kyle Williams, vice president of merchandising for Murphy USA. “Therefore, we are pleased to name Swisher as Supplier Partner of the Year.”

“Earning this recognition for the fifth time is quite an accomplishment. Wade Holder, national accounts manager for Swisher, deserves much of the credit for the time, energy, innovation and relationship building he and his team put toward our partnership with Murphy USA each day,” said John Miller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Swisher International.

The company will be formally acknowledged at an upcoming National Managers meetings for Murphy USA in late January 2014.

Murphy USA operates almost 1,200 gas stations/convenience stores in 23 U.S. states that serve approximately 1.6 million customers a day. And, most locations are purposely positioned near the parking lots of its affiliate—Walmart.
