Meredith Thomas has joined NACS as its director of meetings & special events.
Thomas will be responsible for many of the activities related to the convenience and petroleum association’s events, including the NACS Show, which is one of the 50 largest annual trade shows in the country.
With eight-plus years of meeting planning experience, Thomas has served in many related positions. She was the director of conferences and expositions with the American Physical Therapy Association, where she handled conventions and trade shows. Prior to that, Thomas served with the National Recreation & Park Association and the National Apartment Association.
A resident of Alexandria, Va., Thomas is a member of the Washington, DC Convention & Meetings Advisory Board, Professional Convention Management Association and the Association of Meeting Professionals.
