Sheetz Inc. continues to serve up convenience to area residents as it opens a new 5,000-square-foot store in Waynesboro, PA.
The newest addition to the chain brings the total number of stores to 338. While the store has already opened to the public, employees will host a community grand opening celebration Sept. 13, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 3:30 p.m. that day.
As part of the festivities, the company will present $1,000 each to The Waynesboro Area D.A.R.E. Program and Red Run Park in Washington Township, Pa.
“It’s exciting for us at Sheetz any time we are able to bring our latest concepts in convenience to a new area,” said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president, marketing, Sheetz Inc. “We are grateful for the opportunity to reach out to a new part of North Carolina and we hope our donation to The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club will benefit many.”
