nFinanSe Inc. and Coinstar E-Payment Services Inc., a subsidiary of Coinstar, Inc., are teaming up to distribute nFinanSe’s reloadable prepaid and gift cards to Coinstar’s Pay as You Go Solution, found at retailers nationwide.
The nFinanSe prepaid cards are expected to be available to Coinstar retail partners starting in the last quarter of 2009.
“Coinstar is a leader in the prepaid industry and we are very proud to be partnering with them in the distribution of our general purpose reloadable and gift cards,” said Karen Sobie, nFinanSe’s vice president of sales. “Our agreement with Coinstar will ensure that our market-leading reloadable cards, priced to the consumer at only $3, achieve much greater penetration in the marketplace and stimulate significant trial and usage among consumers.”
The nFinanSe’s reloadable prepaid cards feature a $3 purchase price, a low $2.95 monthly fee and an affordable $2.95 reload fee. The permanent card is included in the retail package and there are no hidden transaction fees and no fees on purchases. The cards are reloadable at more than 80,000 nFinanSe Network nationwide locations, and live customer service is available to assist cardholders 24 hours a day, seven days a week in English and Spanish. Other benefits include free payroll direct deposit, purchase and available balance information sent directly to the cardholder’s cell phone or email address after each transaction and mobile couponing through RocketBux.
The nFinanSe gift cards are available in $25 and $50 denominations and offer free 24/7 customer service. The cards come in packaging featuring various themes in both English and Spanish.
