NOCO volunteers lend a helping hand at The City Mission.
The Buffalo City Mission and 10 community volunteers from NOCO joined forces to help serve more than 250 traditional turkey dinners at the Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving Community Meal.
Volunteers and staff of the Mission dished out a traditional holiday meal including turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pie to hundreds of poor and homeless Western New Yorkers.
“As a family-owned company, we understand the sense of family the City Mission provides to those most in need throughout our community year round,” said James Newman, president, NOCO. “Today’s donation of 160 turkeys and 1,860 bags coffee will help the City Mission ensure that Western New York families enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal this year. As we have for 80 years, NOCO remains committed to the communities we serve and our employees were thankful for the opportunity to give back and lend a hand to the City Mission this holiday season.”
NOCO operates 35 NOCO Express convenience stores in western New York.
