Kretek International Inc. will feature new nicotine-free, non-tobacco Splash menthol-filtered smokes at Booth 13023 at TPE25 in Las Vegas Jan. 29-31. Tobacco-free Splash menthols are being introduced as a legal alternative in restricted markets for the first six months of 2025, in 20-pack, king-sized flip-top boxes, delivered in 10-pack cartons.
New Splash menthol smokes offer a simple, profitable transition to continued legal, tobacco-free menthol sales. Splash Classic and Splash Smooth menthols are each blended to be similar to the menthol cigarette feel and flavors that most smokers already prefer. Two years of consumer research and hundreds of adult smoking taste trials resulted in a unique botanical blend that captures the balance, smoothness and familiarity they expect. The large majority (71%) of surveyed menthol smokers said they’d “definitely” or “likely” buy a pack. New Splash Menthols are also free of federal and most state excise taxes.
Kretek makes no health claims and have placed a tar and carbon monoxide warning on all Splash packs and cartons. Splash menthols are made in Indonesia by PT Djarum, whose cigarettes and cigars have been imported and sold in the U.S. exclusively through Kretek International Inc. since 1983.
