A walk-in humidor and a custom-made beer cave to greet c-store customers on opening day.
The Oneida Nation, a federally recognized Indian nation in central New York is debuting its newly remodeled and rebranded SāvOn store at Oneida Lake, located at 3802 Route 31, on Friday, June 12.
The new store features more than 30 Las Vegas-style slot machines in the store’s “PlayOn by SavOn,” section, as well as a custom-made beer cave and a state-of-the-art walk-in cigar humidor.
While the Oneida Lake SāvOn is the Oneida Nation’s third convenience store location to offer cash slot machines, it is the first to introduce the new “PlayOn by SāvOn” concept. “PlayOn” is a playful and literal twist on the SāvOn brand, encouraging guests to come in and play. Guests at the Oneida Lake location will also enjoy a new beer cave, which offers a variety of imported and domestic beer, including a large selection of craft brews such as Southern Tier, Lagunitas, 21st Amendment, and Dogfish Head, and also a new walk-in cigar humidor with more than 150 varieties of premium cigars.
New Logo
The convenience store chain will also feature a new, contemporary SāvOn logo.
SāvOn’s new logo, evocative of a handwritten, personal note, is a vibrant, stylish and more modern than the previous logo, which represented the convenience store chain for more than 20 years when the first SāvOn opened in 1994. The refreshed logo emphasizes the value guests will continue to find at central New York’s preferred convenience stores with “Sav” written in a soft script font. The Oneida Nation will roll out the new SāvOn brand at the remaining 12 locations through a multi-year rebranding initiative.
Competitive Pricing
The Oneida Lake location will continue to offer competitively priced non-ethanol gasoline, essential for boats, personal watercrafts and motorcycles, a wide selection of cigarettes and other tobacco products, and daily fuel promotions such as lower priced gas with cash payment.
Guests can also interact with the convenience store chain on-the-go by downloading the SāvOn mobile app to receive special offers and discounts, event notifications, and to play spin and win games for SāvOn prizes.
Today, the Oneida Nation consists of about 1,000 enrolled Members, most of them living in central New York.
