Norfolk, Va.-based Outsite Networks, a loyalty solutions provider for the c-store industry, and Catalina Marketing, a provider of precision marketing and shopper-focused media, have partnered to develop a c-store network that brings manufacturer-sponsored coupons to c-store consumers.

The partnership leverages Catalina Marketing’s understanding of how purchase behavior can be used to design and execute successful marketing programs. Catalina Marketing’s network of 300 brand sponsors can bring highly targeted and fully-funded promotions and incentives to the c-store shopper that drive trips and increase brand sales.

“We are excited to partner with Outsite Networks in the c-store channel,” said Darren Moss, vice president of Marketing at Catalina Marketing. “Outsite Networks’ experience in the c-store channel and their unique technology  provides our CPG partners the ability to deliver incentives to any c-store shopper, whether or not they carry a loyalty card.”

“We believe this is a significant opportunity for the c-store industry,” said Anton Bakker, president and CEO of Outsite Networks. “We’ve seen reports that coupons have seen double digit growth in usage this year. Highly targeted coupons and rewards have proven to be successful throughout our loyalty network.  These new coupons will be ‘smart’ coupons as well, rich in value, and fully-funded. We’re pleased to be bringing this new benefit to c-store operators.”

Outsite Networks’ technology is in more than one thousand stores and features high speed printers with wireless communications that work with virtually any make and model POS.
