Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) is testing what it calls ‘hard coffee’

The Milwaukee-based brewer has been rolling out the product in a number of markets since early July. It’s caffeinated, with 5% alcohol by volume (ABV) and contains real coffee beans, milk and vanilla flavoring.

The company said that the product is “designed to meet the needs of the next generation of American consumers.”

It will be tested in five states to start: Pennsylvania, Maine, New Jersey, Florida and Georgia.
