Parker’s joins Buc-ee’s, Kwik Trip and other top convenience store brands on GasBuddy’s most recent ranking.

Parker’s Convenience Stores is featured on the “Top 10 U.S. Gas Station Brands” list in a recent report issued by GasBuddy.

GasBuddy, the a source for accurate, real-time fuel prices at more than 140,000 gas stations, ranked Parker’s ninth overall, including the Savannah, Ga.-based company along with other industry leaders like QuikTrip, Wawa and Sheetz.

“These are destination brands that directly compete with restaurants, coffee shops, and—in some cases—even supermarkets,” said Frank Beard, c-store and retail trends analyst for Boston-based GasBuddy. “Although gas stations are still in the business of selling gas, the leading brands have become so much more. They’re a refuge for motorists looking for great food, an amazing cup of coffee or some of the best customer service you’ll find anywhere.”

GasBuddy’s data science team compiled the findings by examining customer ratings and reviews between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2017. They focused on U.S. convenience stores with more than 30 retail locations.

Parker’s has been ranked on Inc.’s elite list of the top 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for four consecutive years.
