Parker’s Hires New District Manager

Parker’s has chosen a highly successful industry veteran to serve as one of the company’s district managers.

Savannah, Ga.- based Parker’s has hired Scott Morris, an industry veteran, to serve as district manager for the company. Morris has more than 13 years of experience in the industry, and in his new position he is responsible for managing daily operations for six Parker’s stores.

Five of the stores that Morris is now managing are in Bluffton, S.C. and one store is in Hardeeville, S.C.

Before joining Parker’s, Morris served as operations manager for Spivey Enterprises in Charlotte N.C., where he supervised operations at seven retail stores and full-restaurant kitchens. During his tenure with the company, he managed staff training, streamlined store operations and optimized workflow.

Earlier in his career, Morris worked as an area supervisor and manager at Gate Petroleum in Charlotte, N.C., where he was honored as Manager of the Year, Supervisor of the Year and Northern Division Training Manger of the Year. He also owned and operated a successful bakery in Jacksonville, Fla.

Born in Valdosta, Ga., Morris grew up in New York and attended Rochester Institute of Technology and Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y. He recently relocated to Savannah, Ga. from Charlotte, N.C.
