Parker's was praised as a top c-store by Food and Wine Magazine for its Southern-inspired menu, all of which is prepared fresh on-site.

Savannah, Ga.-based Parker’s was recently honored by Food and Wine as one of ‘America’s Best Convenience Stores,’ providing some of “the best food you’ll find on the road.”

Food and Wine ranked Parker’s as No. 5 on the list, praising its Southern-inspired menu, all of which is prepared fresh on-site.

“From a downtown Savannah flagship featuring a full array of serious, available-24/7 Southern home cooking (wow, those biscuits) to more than 50 stores dotting the surrounding area, including the South Carolina Lowcountry, where you can always get your hands on an urn-sized cup of sweet tea, and some of the best chicken tenders around — fresh, never frozen, Parker’s is the extremely Southern convenience store of your dreams,” the article said.

Food and Wine featured Parker’s along with others, including Buc-ee’s, Wawa, Sheetz and Cumberland Farms. There are currently more than 168,000 convenience stores in the U.S. Parker’s has 64 stores in Georgia and South Carolina and ambitious expansion plans for the future.
