PFSbrands, parent company of Champs Chicken, recently announced a unique referral program for new store locations via a Facebook campaign.

This foodservice company has nearly 1,000 locations now inside grocery and c-stores and is always looking for new ways to expand on that number.

CEO Shawn Burcham said, “We receive referrals all the time for new retail locations from our wholesale partners and even some retailers, but before now our company has never opened the door for referrals from the very people who are eating our chicken and loving it.”

“We sometimes hear from folks who have discovered our fried chicken or fish while traveling and wished there was a location closer to them. This program is a way for us to uncover prospective branded locations at the suggestion of actual fans of our chicken,” explained Burcham.

This is important for prospective retailers because it provides firsthand information about what food choices consumers are actually wanting in their area. This program allows consumers to earn up to $1,000 for each referral that eventually results in a new Champs Chicken location.
