Pilot Flying J has announced the opening of three new Pilot Travel Centers. The three centers are located in Marion, N.C., Schulenburg, Texas and Whitecourt, Alberta (Canada). All three locations offer full amenities for area residents and the traveling public, while adding a total of 180 jobs between the three locations. The centers also offer other economic benefits to the communities in which they are placed.

The new North Carolina Pilot travel center offers amenities, including:

  • 10 gasoline fueling positions and seven diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling
  • Subway
  • Casual food offerings, including sandwiches, fresh salads and hot dogs
  • Premium coffee and cappuccino selections
  • Everyday products for quick shopping needs

This location has brought 70 jobs to the Marion, N.C. community.

The new facility at Sugar Hill Road is Pilot Flying J’s 11th in North Carolina, and it is expected to contribute $2.9 million annually in state and local tax revenues.

The new Texas Pilot Travel Center offers many amenities, including one major “twist:”

  • 20 fueling positions and eight diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling
  • Expanded RV amenities, including three RV lanes and sanitary dump station.
  • Taco Bell
  • Cinnabon
  • Auntie Anne’s Pretzels
  • PJ Fresh fast, casual food offerings, including pizza, soup, salads, sandwiches and hot dogs
  • Premium coffee and cappuccino selections
  • Everyday products for quick shopping needs

This location has added 70 jobs to the Schulenburg, Texas area.

Of the more than 650 Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Plazas across North America, the Schulenburg location is the first to house an Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. Made famous by its fresh, hand-rolled treats, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels is the world’s largest soft pretzel franchise. Core pretzels in the Auntie Anne’s lineup include Original, Cinnamon Sugar, Pepperoni, Roasted Garlic Parmesan, Sour Cream & Onion, and Sweet Almond pretzels, along with the Pretzel Dog.

The new facility at 709 U.S. Highway 77 N. is Pilot Flying J’s 65th location in Texas, and it is expected to contribute $3.2 million annually in state and local tax revenues.

The new Flying J Travel Plaza offers many amenities, including:

  • Eight fueling positions and five diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling
  • Fresh food offerings, including pizza and sandwiches
  • Premium coffee and cappuccino selections
  • Everyday products for quick shopping needs

This location has brought 40 new jobs to the Whitecourt, Alberta community.

The new facility at 5329 Govenlock Mountain Road is Pilot Flying J’s 26th location in Canada and it is expected to contribute $1 million annually in state and local tax revenues.

All of the new locations honor the MyRewards loyalty card, through which members can earn in-store retail and restaurant discounts. The combined network of more than 650 Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Plazas across North America serves more than 1.3 million customers daily.
