Several New York-area convenience stores are delving into the sale of pizza cones.
Three gas station chains in the New York metropolitan-area are selling new Cono Italiano Inc. “pizza conos” at their c-stores.
Exxon, BP and Gulf Gas Stations are now selling pizza conos and empanadas to consumers. The pizza cono is a drip-free, cone-shaped pizza made from proprietary dough. Cono Italiano provides each c-store with a warmer and displays for the pizza cones and empanadas. The locations include the Gulf Station at the Holland Tunnel in Jersey City, N.J., Exxon on Route 17 in Ramsey, N.J. and the BP Station in Jersey City.

Cono Italiano Inc. plans to market its pizza cone to QSRs, supermarkets, c-stores, entertainment facilities and sports arenas.
