slurpee-poptart-groupSlurpee’s 50th birthday just got even sweeter with the introduction of new Slurpee Pop-Tarts.

As 7-Eleven continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary, customers visiting 7-Eleven stores between now and Nov. 11 will have the opportunity to take part in the Fiftee Partee, where they can not only enjoy a Slurpee drink, but also indulge in the first-ever Slurpee birthday Pop-Tarts.

“Slurpee and Pop-Tarts are two of America’s most fun food and beverage brands,” said Kathy Hasty, 7-Eleven senior product director. “These two high-spirited brands have an unmistakable draw, and they make people smile. Pop-Tarts brings a fresh element of fun to our year-long Slurpee-bration, and I think Slurpee-lovers will be in for a sweet surprise when they open a package. We want to thank Kellogg for extending our party to Pop-Tarts.”

To make the Slurpee 50! Party extra special, Pop-Tarts is introducing Limited Edition Printed Fun Pop-Tarts in Frosted Strawberry and Frosted Blueberry.  Once unwrapped, the Pop-Tarts reveal images of the Crazy Good Pop-Tart characters and Slurpee birthday messages. “The silly antics and attitudes of our Crazy Good characters delight consumers and take this Slurpee collaboration to a whole new level,” added Gavin Bowyer, senior marketing director, Kellogg’s.

Consumers can continue the Slurpee Fiftee Partee with a Crazy Good Slurpee 50 Game, a Scratch ‘n’ Win game that provides consumers a chance to win 7-Eleven $50 gift cards.

“Fifty years is a milestone for any brand, and the entire Kellogg’s team encourages all Americans to join the celebration with Slurpee drinks and Pop-Tarts,” Bowyer  said.  “This special promotion won’t last long so we encourage people to hurry in and get their Slurpee birthday Pop-Tarts before they’re gone!”
