If its successful, it could roll out to stores nationwide.

QuikTrip is testing out a carhop program, re-branded as “Carside Delivery” to provide some additional convenience to its customers.

The program will allow customers to call a number posted on the “Carside Delivery” sign, place an order for snacks or drinks, pay via credit card and have the products delivered directly to them.

QuikTrip spokeperson Mike Thornbrugh said the company tried the service about 15 years ago. With curbside pickup becoming more popular, it’s possible it’ll see more success this time around.

“I mean, technology is all around us. People obviously come to QuikTrip to get in and get out quickly, so we’ll see, maybe it will work,” said QuikTrip Spokesperson Mike Thornbrugh, according to Talk 1170 Radio.

It’s only available at select stores in Des Moines, Wichita, and Tulsa. But if it’s successful, it could roll out to other stores.
