CSD’s 2014 Chain of the Year Award Winner to celebrate free coffee week Oct. 12 – 18.

In an effort to encourage busy commuters not to “drool and drive,” RaceTrac welcomes guests to visit one of its more than 370 locations to grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a donut or muffin “made fresh morningly.”

That’s right— Free Coffee Week is back Oct. 12–18, during which guests can grab a free cup of coffee, any size, no coupon needed.

“RaceTrac loves showing our guests how much we appreciate them by inviting them in to enjoy our Crazy Good Coffee for free ALL week long,” said RaceTrac CEO Allison Moran. “This is our fourth annual Free Coffee Week, and we are excited to welcome our loyal Trac Fanatics and new guests alike to visit our stores and enjoy all that RaceTrac has to offer. Last year, we gave away more than 3.1 million cups of coffee, and we expect to give away even more this year.”

RaceTrac is CSD’s 2014 Convenience Store Chain of the Year Award Winner, and is set to be honored at an award dinner during the NACS Show on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. To register for the free event, visit http://2014coyracetrac.eventbrite.com

Also starting during Free Coffee Week and continuing through the end of the year, guests can visit RaceTrac’s Facebook page each Monday for a chance to win a BreakfastPack full of more than $30 of free breakfast goodies like Crazy Good Coffee, energy bars, granola bars, cereal and more!

Free Coffee Week includes any size hot beverage from RaceTrac’s expansive coffee bar, from its fresh coffee brewed 24/7, to everything in its cappuccino machines, along with an array of coffee condiments like flavor shots, creams and sweeteners. Guests can also purchase a variety of fresh bakery items, hot breakfast sandwiches and burritos.

RaceTrac’s expanded coffee bar and indoor and outdoor seating give its stores a fun, coffeehouse feel. Headquartered in Atlanta, RaceTrac has been serving guests since 1934 and now operates more than 370 convenience store locations in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
