RaceTrac to sell 22 currently-operating stores.
The bid deadline for the sealed bid sale of 29 RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. properties has been extended to Sept. 24.
The sale is being conducted by NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC, and includes properties located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
According to a report from NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, the bid sale will close at 3 p.m. Central Time on Sept. 24, 2015.
The properties for sale are being sold as convenience stores with gas. Twenty-two of the locations are currently operating and seven are not. Each property includes furnishings and equipment owned by the seller, along with inventory. Any equipment, furnishings or inventory that are leased by the seller or owned by third parties will not be sold with the property, but will be removed prior to closing. The fuel and convenience store brands will also be removed prior to closing.
Although the properties are equipped for the sale of gasoline, the properties are offered without fuel supply. Any fuel that is sold on these properties in the future must be branded Shell, Chevron, Texaco, BP, Exxon, Amoco or Mobil. The sale of fuel under any other brand is prohibited.
