Road Ranger LLC has recently completed the acquisition of seven c-store and travel centers from four separate companies.
Three stores from Dubuque, Iowa-based Dubuque Discount Gas were acquired earlier this month, and last month the company acquired a single store from Okawville, Ill.-based Karko LLC. The chain also purchased two stores in northern Illinois from R&B Express Mart, while in May, the company bought a store from Hartford, Ill.-based Parson’s Oil.
This announcement comes after the February acquisition of two Grand Prix locations in northern Illinois and six QuikTrip locations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In total, the number of locations Road Ranger has acquired during fiscal 2007 is 15 adding to the company’s goal of operating 100 stores by the end of 2008.
Road Ranger is continuing with the momentum, getting ready to close on three more acquisitions in the next 90 days. On top of that, the company is also upgrading its network of stores, recently finishing the raze and rebuild of three Clark stores it purchased in 2003.
