Roadrunner“It helps differentiate our sites and dramatically improves the fueling experience for our customers,” says president of Mountain Empire Oil.

The inOvationTV media program, a forecourt media platform offered jointly by Wayne, A GE Business, and a global innovator of fuel dispensers and forecourt technologies, and Gas Station TV (GSTV), continues to add new geographic locations to its network.

Mountain Empire Oil, operating as Roadrunner Markets, has recently committed to the installation of new Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers, equipped with the inOvationTV media platform, at additional sites in Jonesborough and Kingsport, Tenn. The new installations are in addition to eight Roadrunner sites in North Carolina that already feature the program.

“Our mission is to delight the customer in a way that makes them come back tomorrow,” stated Ryan Broyles, president and CEO, Mountain Empire Oil. “Our station remodels, new Ovation dispensers, and the inOvationTV media program all contribute to this mission. It helps differentiate our sites and dramatically improves the fueling experience for our customers.”

Headquartered in Johnson City, Tenn., Mountain Empire Oil operates 92 Roadrunner Market stores throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Many of the sites feature the Shell brand, while others feature Sunoco and BP brands.

“Mountain Empire Oil is a high quality and respected retail operation, and Wayne is pleased to welcome these new sites to the network,” stated Cameron Nokes, product manager for the inOvationTV media platform at Wayne. “These fueling stations will be the first to feature the program in the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee and Virginia.”

The inOvationTV media program features GSTV-exclusive content that includes sports from ESPN, news and entertainment from CNN’s Headline News and Buzz Today, business and personal finance from Bloomberg TV, and local-hosted weather updates from AccuWeather. All programming is custom-produced for the forecourt and updated multiple times throughout the day.

“Bringing GSTV to new regions through our collaboration with Wayne continues to establish video at the pump as the new normal for consumers across the country,” said David Leider, CEO, GSTV. “Our tailored content mix gives these station owners a new way to engage customers and drive traffic into their c-stores, while increasing our viewership in the region.”

Wayne and GSTV have recently expanded the availability of the inOvationTV media platform to include all gas retailers nationwide, regardless of region or fuel volume, that purchases new Ovation dispensers. The expanded program will grow GSTV’s national presence by thousands of pumps and millions of viewers annually, enabling gas retailers and advertisers nationwide to create deeper customer engagement.
