Arthur Drogue and Angelo Iantosca join the Ruiz team.

Ruiz Foods Inc. has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors: Arthur Drogue and Angelo Iantosca.

“These dedicated individuals come to us from diverse leadership backgrounds each holding a unique, important perspective to the frozen food industry,” said Kim Ruiz Beck, chairman, Ruiz Foods Inc. “We are pleased to have them available to work closely and guide the mission, goals and progress of our initiatives.”

Drogue is recently retired from Unilever as senior vice president of Customer Development for the Americas. Drogue has also held positions at Best Foods, Nabisco and General Mills. Earlier this year, Drogue was presented with the William H. Albers Industry Relations Award by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), introduced in 1955 in honor of the first chairman of the Super Market Institute (one of FMI’s predecessor organizations). His Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics is from Stetson University and he completed an Executive Management Program at Cornell.

Iantosca is recently retired as president/CEO from Nestlé Prepared Foods, the leading branded manufacturer of frozen and chilled foods in the U.S. During his career, he has also held positions within Nesté Prepared Foods; specifically, Buitoni North America, Nestlé’s Global Food Strategic Business Unit, Stouffer’s and Lean Cuisine.

Iantosca also serves on the board for the Hedwin Corp., the Cleveland Clinic’s Wellness Institute and the Cleveland Boys and Girls Club. His BS in Food Science is from Rutgers University with an MBA in Marketing from Fordham University.

Drogue and Iantosca join current members of the Ruiz Board of Directors: Jack Baker, Larry Dalicandro, Bill Henderson, Wayne Partin, Terry Peets and Ruiz family members: Fred Ruiz, Kim Ruiz Beck, Bryce Ruiz, Kelly Ruiz Hanchett and Matthew Ruiz.
