New Website helps customers find Rutter’s Dairy products.

Rutter’s Dairy has launched a line of fresh organic milk. The new products are available in fat free, 1%, 2%, and whole varieties. Sold in the half gallon size, it is available in several grocery and fresh/organic focused retail outlets.

Rutter’s Organic Milk comes from local farms that are certified organic by Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO). PCO “is a USDA-accredited organic certifying agency that educates and certifies growers, processors and handlers of organic crops, wild crops, livestock and livestock products in Pennsylvania and adjoining states” (PAOrganic.org). The milk comes from family-owned farms in Eastern and Southcentral Pennsylvania and Northeastern Maryland. This allows us to get our milk from the farm to the customer’s refrigerator as fast as we can. Rutter’s Organic Milk contains no GMOs, no synthetic or artificial growth hormones, no antibiotics, no synthetic or persistent pesticides, and no synthetic fertilizers.

Rutter’s Fresh Organic Milk, like all Rutter’s milk, is pasteurized at standard pasteurization temperatures. The Rutter’s Dairy team believes these lower temperatures, compared to those used in ultra-pasteurization, give Rutter’s Organic milk a great fresh taste.

Rutter’s Dairy has also created a brand new Website specifically for the dairy, www.ruttersdairy.com. Customers can use the fresh locator to search and view retail locations that sell Rutter’s Dairy products. The site also details out the product portfolio, and provides DIY activities, recipes, and educational information for consumers.

“We are excited to expand our product line to allow Organic focused shoppers to experience the quality of our brand with Rutter’s Fresh Organic Milk,” said Todd Rutter, president of Rutter’s Dairy.

With roots dating back to 1747, Rutter’s 269 year history makes it the oldest vertically-integrated food company in the U.S. Rutter’s is widely recognized as an industry leader in food service, innovative technology, and customer service, recently receiving awards for Best Milk for 14 years in a row by the York Newspaper Co. It is guided by the family’s 3rd generation of leadership with Todd Rutter as president of Rutter’s Dairy, Scott Hartman president and CEO of Rutter’s Farm Stores, and Tim Rutter as president of M&G Realty.
