Rutter’s Farm Stores integrates PriceAdvantage and OpenStore from the Skyline Products line to make smarter fuel pricing decisions.

Rutter’s Farm Stores added PriceAdvantage and OpenStore to improve fuel price management and media marketing.

The integration of PriceAdvantage and OpenStore help synchronize gas pricing across Rutter’s store POS, fuel pumps, electronic price signs, mobile apps and GasBuddy.com.

Scott Hartman, CEO of Rutter’s Farm Stores, said the two new solutions have allowed the company to make “critical” fuel pricing decisions while also enhancing customers’ access to fuel prices.

“Rutter’s can now initiate real-time price synchronization from headquarters to the street and the Web in a matter of minutes,” Hartman said.

PriceAdvantage is a specialized retail fuel pricing solution for c-store opeartors, designed to aid in the pricing process. It gives retailers the ability to change prices immediately at the POS, fuel pumps and electronic price signs from headquarters with one click that makes the solution unique.

“Volatility is posing a challenge to fuel marketers to stay ahead of their competition, in both pricing and marketing,” said Dustin Coupal, co-founder of OpenStore. “We’re thrilled that Rutter’s has chosen to stay ahead of the game by publishing their prices to GasBuddy and OpenStore through the integration with PriceAdvantage.”

Rutter’s Farm Stores is headquartered in York, Pa. and operates 57 locations.
