Rutter’s has officially opened its 89th location and its first of 2025, which features the retailer’s new on-site bar and lounge format, a concept that was first announced earlier this month. Located in Johnstown, Pa., the new 11,000-square-foot store is designed to provide “the ultimate customer experience,” the retailer noted in a statement.
Rutter’s is redefining its typical convenience store by introducing a full bar and lounge, including five video gaming terminals (VGTs). This 21-plus space will offer nearly 75 alcoholic beverage options, including canned cocktails, beer and wine, plus exclusive bundle deals and access to Rutter’s award-winning food service menu.
Adding to the immersive experience, the Bar & Gaming Lounge will feature:
- 20 65-inch high-definition TVs
- Three real-time sports tickers for live updates
- Five VGTs for entertainment
Open 24/7, this newest Rutter’s location offers the brand’s best-in-class food menu, along with exclusive VIP Rewards deals for loyal customers.
It also features 12 auto-fueling positions and three commercial fueling lanes to serve both everyday motorists and professional drivers.
“Rutter’s is also proud to support the Johnstown community by employing 50 new team members, with starting wages at $18 per hour,” the statement continued.
In celebration of the new store opening, Rutter’s Children’s Charities will donate $1,000 to The Learning Lamp, Inc., Circle of Support Child Advocacy Center, and Bridges Cooperative Ministry, reinforcing the company’s commitment to giving back.
