George Predick, who has worked with SAS since 1989, retired on May 31.

S. Abraham & Sons (SAS) has announced that George Predick — regional vice president for Wisconsin and Illinois — has retired as of May 31.

Predick began his career with SAS in 1989 as new business development manager for Wisconsin and Illinois. He was later promoted to vice president of sales for Illinois and in 2002 was promoted to vice president of sales for Illinois and Wisconsin.

He was a member of Kiwanis Club, graduated from Hershey’s Steps Program, was an active member of the Wisconsin Association of Distributors and served as board member and past president of the Illinois Association of Wholesale Distributors. He also attended The Four Pillars of Success Program during his time at SAS.

Predick is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and has worked in the industry since 1974, beginning at Bambas Tobacco Co., which later was purchased by Core-Mark International where he was a district manager. Predick is active in his church community and enjoys spending time with his three children and five grandsons.
