Sheetz Inc. has opened a new location on 270 Route 61 South in Schuylkill Haven, Pa., the company said.

The new store will be the 197th Sheetz in Pennsylvania and the 347th nationwide. As part of the store’s grand opening this week, Sheetz made a donation to Blue Mountain School District, which will be used to purchase electronic Smartboards for the district’s Interactive Learning through Technology Program.

"We are thrilled to join the Schuylkill Haven community and be a part of the events that are important to them," said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president of marketing at Sheetz. "Sheetz has a long tradition of being involved in youth-centered activities so today we are happy to make a commitment to support educational and athletic programs for the children of Schuylkill Haven.”

The new Schuylkill Haven store features cold and toasted subs, salads, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers, burgers and more, all of which are made fresh to order as part of the Sheetz foodservice program.

The new store will also offer Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full-service espresso and smoothie bar staffed by a trained barista. Customers can order hand-made specialty coffee drinks that are hot, frozen or iced, including lattes, cappuccinos and mochas. The store will also include touch-screen kiosks for food and specialty coffee orders, and a surcharge-free ATM and retailer gift and phone cards.
