Eric Chester, author and speaker, will teach retailers about reviving work ethic with Generation Y at this year’s Smoker Friendly Conference and Tobacco Festival.

The 16th Annual Smoker Friendly Conference and Tobacco Festival is set for Aug. 25 to Aug. 28 in Boulder, Colo., and Eric Chester, a well-known author and speaker, plans to give the keynote address to Smoker Friendly retailers.

Chester is known as an expert on “reviving the work ethic and how to employ Generation Y.”

As an award-winning speaker and author, Chester was the first to explain the differences this generation has brought to the workforce. Smoker Friendly is excited to add Chester to its lineup to enlighten operators on how to recruit, train, manage, motivate and retrain this generation’s workforce.

The Smoker Friendly Conference and Tobacco Festival is hosted for Smoker Friendly retailers, licensees and special guests each year. Mary Szarmach, spokeswoman for Smoker Friendly, said she expects 400 attendees at the 2012 conference.

Szarmach said the following individuals will be presenting or speaking at the conference: Tom Briant of NATO, Steve Kottak of RJ Reynolds, Carl Loos from the Republic Tobacco, E. Stephen Daniel of U.S. Flue Cured, Farrell Delman of the Tobacco Merchants Association, Brad Rodu of the Tobacco Harm Reduction University of Louisville School of Medicine, Kevin Freudenthal, of Common Wealth Altadis Inc. and Bhavani Parameswar of King Maker Marketing.
