In honor of the grand opening, Stewarts Shops donated $1,500 in milk and egg certificates to the Hoosick Area Church Association.

New York-based Stewart’s Shop celebrated the grand opening of a new location in the small town of North Hoosick, N.Y., with a formal ribbon cutting with local dignitaries.

The shop is located on 4702 NY Route 67 in North Hoosick, N.Y. The people in town congregate at this shop and consider it their coffee shop and their meeting place.

In honor of the grand opening, Stewart’s Shops donated $1,500 in milk and egg certificates to the Hoosick Area Church Association.

While planning and approvals take some time, the new shop only took about nine weeks to build.

Stewart’s Shops employs over 4,500 people and operates over 335 shops across New York and southern Vermont. Its rich, nearly 75-year history and success stems from its vertical integration, employee ownership and strong company values.
