Recognizing the need for help among charities and communities, Stewart’s Shops and the Dake family have decided to increase annual donations from $9 million to $12 million.
Stewart’s noted that due to the chain’s efficiency and hardworking employees, called partners, it’s stable and equipped to navigate these complex economic times.
Today, Stewart’s 400 shops serve communities across upstate New York and Vermont, and the company is now doing business in part of New Hampshire.
As the chain is serving more communities, it is also sharing more from Stewart’s and the family foundation.
“The Dake family is happy to increase their contribution to support all Stewart’s communities,” said Susan Dake, president of the Stewart’s Foundation. “We recognize that our loyal customers and the hard work of Stewart’s partners are the reason for Stewart’s success and our ability to give.”
Stewart’s and the Dake family believe the increase in charitable giving will continue to make their communities stronger.
