Stewart’s Shops has announced the grand opening of its new and improved Massena, N.Y., shop. The $3.3 million investment allows the retailer to offer a wider variety of products to the community, it noted in a statement.
Located at 200 N. Main St., a few blocks from Massena Hospital and Massena schools in the St. Lawrence Seaway community, the new shop has plenty of space to provide quick and easy access for neighborhood residents and commuters.
“Our new shop offers a greater selection of beverages, sandwiches, pizza and crock items,” the statement continued. “There also is more space for fresh fruit and vegetables.”
The new store boasts more parking spaces and gas dispensers, including diesel and premium non-ethanol, to simplify customers’ visits. Additionally, the new design includes vertical ice cream freezers to make it easier for customers to spot their favorite flavors.
To celebrate the opening of its new shop, Stewart’s is donating $3,000 to support programs at the Massena Public Library.
This site is one of two Stewart’s that serve the Massena community. Stewart’s operates 11 shops in St. Lawrence County.
Stewart’s Shops employs 5,500 people who operate more than 400 convenience stores across upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.
