Tanknology Inc., Austin, Texas, the world’s largest Underground Storage Tank (UST) environmental compliance services company, has joined forces with Gulf Oil L.P. as a member of Gulf’s Preferred
Vendor Program.
As a Preferred Vendor, Tanknology’s full range of UST environmental compliance services will be made available in a specialized program for Gulf’s 1,800 Gulf-branded gas and service stations across the Northeastern U.S.
To be selected for the Gulf Oil Preferred Vendor Program, companies must undergo a rigorous multi-point evaluation, be a leader in its market segment and maintain exceptional service standards. Gulf-branded operators receive preferred member pricing for all Tanknology services.

Gulf Oil, based in Framingham, Mass., is one of the Northeast’s largest wholesalers of refined petroleum products. It distributes motor fuels through a network of more than 2,400 Gulf-branded gasoline retail centers, 12 proprietary oil terminals, and a network of more than 50 other supply terminals.
