Tedeschi responds to CSD’s first annual social media awards.

Tedeschi Food Shops noted it is honored to be the recipient of the Convenience Store Decisions’ Facebook Growth Award. The Tedeschi Food Shops Facebook Fan Page grew 1,663% in 2012.

“Serving and delighting our customers is our passion. Social media allows us to engage our customers in many meaningful ways—and in real-time. It gives them a way to express how they feel about our brand, products and service,”  said Joe Hamza, vice president of sales and marketing

“The growth of our program reflects our commitment to connect with our customers,” added Mary Arscott, advertising & promotions manager.

Tedeschi Food Shops also was an honorable mention for the Twitter Growth award with an impressive 123% jump in followers in 2012.
