Jerry Herbst founded Terrible Herbst Convenience Stores in 1959.
Jerry Herbst, the founder and chairman of Terrible Herbst Convenience Stores passed away last week on Nov. 27 at the age of 80.
According to LasVegasnow.com, Herbst founded Terrible Herbst Inc., in 1959. Today the company owns and operates more than 160 convenience stores, car wash and lube locations throughout Southern Nevada.
Herbst was known for his business acumen and philanthropic efforts, LasVegasnow.com reported. He is an inductee into both the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame and the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame.
